“After attending the Your Life Styled, I went away with a challenge to throw items away. I love sorting and organising but a few things Steph said in her presentation really hit a few days later. I started sorting client papers, and moved onto the filing cabinet, throwing 20 year old statements away! Then I opened up a box of letters and cards and the ‘ah ha’ moment hit when I realised I didn’t NEED to keep every item from family and close friends. I was suddenly able to release these once precious items and the two huge boxes were reduced to a half filled shoe box of special items. Next hit was my artwork and the kids (artwork). We photographed much and I came up with a new strategy: Revel > Record > Release. I went on to write a blog about this . I never thought the presentation would have such an effect!
